What running it involves

Corridor Cards sells sealed product and singles to sports and Pokémon collectors through three channels. I run all three, and the listing work behind the eBay store.

  • Vending machines

Card vending machines that need restocking. Keeping them full means knowing what’s in each machine and what’s still in storage.

  • Web shop

The online shop at corridorcards.com. It’s also where the machine locations are listed.

  • eBay store

Sports and Pokémon categories. Singles come through the listing pipeline, priced from recent sold listings and shown in exact-item photos. I review and publish every listing.

Where the time goes

A small multi-channel card business runs on repetitive, detail-heavy work: tracking inventory across machines and storage, pricing from recent sales, restocking, and listing, all while keeping the buying experience simple and trustworthy.

How I run it

  1. What you see is what you receive

Exact-item photos and plain, buyer-first listing language.

  2. Structure before automation

Product names and SKUs are built from structured fields (brand, set, variant, type), never typed freehand. That’s what made automation possible later.

Tools I built for it

  • In regular use

    Corridor Listing Pipeline

Turns a batch of photographed cards into checked, priced eBay drafts, then stops so I can review and publish each one.

    Operations dashboard

An internal dashboard for sales, slot-level inventory and restock planning.

What it has to respect

  • Physical operations. Machines, restocks and storage happen in the real world.
  • Time. Every minute spent per card matters.
  • Trust. Buyers need to see exactly what they’ll receive.
