Across Iowa, mostly remotely
Most of this work travels well. An automation runs the same from Dubuque or Des Moines as from down the street; a website and a Business Profile are built remotely by nature; a feasibility brief is research and a video call.
On-site days are easy within about two hours of Coralville: Cedar Falls and Waterloo, Dubuque, Davenport and the Quad Cities, Des Moines and Ames.

- Workflow automation, websites and Shopify stores, local search set-up, product prototypes and program feasibility briefs. None of it needs an in-person meeting unless you want one.
- Iowa-specific knowledge
- For colleges and training providers: Iowa’s 260E, 260F and GAP training funds, state program-approval cycles, and the Workforce Pell documentation Iowa pioneered. For businesses: which local funds pay for training and which do not.
- The one exception
- I work for an Iowa community college. Program-development work for other Iowa colleges is by arrangement only and never through my employer; businesses anywhere in the state are welcome.
