For small teams and owner-operated businesses
AI and workflow automation for small businesses in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids
One repetitive task, automated inside the tools you already use, with a person approving anything that goes out. I run a small business in Coralville and built the same things for it first.

What you get
- One repetitive task, automated end to end
- Forms and emails that land in one place
- Reports that put themselves together
- Small tools built around how you already work
- Listing automation for eBay and Shopify sellers
- AI drafts a person checks before anything goes out
How it works
Map
We find the tasks that eat the week.
Pick one
You choose the first one to automate.
Build
It runs in your own accounts; a person approves.
Hand over
A walkthrough, a one-page guide, what to do next.

Corridor Listing Pipeline
I take the card photos and drop them in a folder. Code and AI turn them into checked, priced eBay drafts, then stop. I review and publish every listing.

Corridor Cards
My trading-card business in Coralville, Iowa. I run card vending machines, an eBay store and a web shop, selling sealed product and singles to sports and Pokémon collectors.

Where we start
Automation Sprint
Timeline Three weeks
Included
- A process map of your top admin bottlenecks with hours and cost per month
- One working automation in your own tools and accounts
- A 30-minute handoff and a one-page runbook
- A roadmap and fixed quote for the next build
- Thirty days of fixes
Not included
- Additional workflows and custom interfaces (quoted in the roadmap)
- Data migration
- Regulated health or card data, and trust accounting
- Software subscriptions the automation needs (yours, and they stay yours)
Larger builds are quoted after the sprint; a monthly care plan keeps it running and adds one improvement a month.

Where
In person across the Cedar Rapids–Iowa City corridor; remotely anywhere in Iowa.
Questions people ask
Do I need new software?
Usually not. Most of what I build connects the tools you already pay for: Jobber, QuickBooks Online, Clio, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Shopify. If a small subscription is needed, it is in your name and you keep it.
What about confidential client data?
The automation runs inside your own accounts and API keys. AI calls use a business plan with no data retention and no training on your data. Your documents stay in your systems and I keep no copies after handoff. Health records, card numbers and trust accounting stay out of scope.
What if it breaks?
The sprint includes thirty days of fixes. After that, a care plan covers monitoring, repairs and one small improvement a month, or you keep the runbook and call when you need me.
How is this different from hiring a Zapier freelancer?
The sprint starts with a process map, not a tool, and ends with a roadmap you can act on with or without me. I also run a small business here and built these things for it before offering them to anyone else.
What can AI actually do for a small business?
Draft, sort, extract and summarise: replies, quotes, invoice details, meeting notes. A person still approves anything that goes out.
