Wavelength

My program-development studio helps community colleges decide which workforce programs are worth building, then helps build them. That means labor-market research, feasibility studies, funding search, and curriculum and course development.

My role
I lead Wavelength through Confluence Labs, the company I founded
For
Community-college workforce and continuing-education teams, and the employers and workforce partners they serve

What colleges are missing

Colleges rarely lack program ideas or labor-market reports. What they lack is the capacity to turn early signals of demand into validated, teach-ready programs, and a trustworthy way to decide which ideas deserve that effort.

What Wavelength does

Services
Regional labor-market analysis, program opportunity scans, feasibility studies, funding search, and curriculum and course development
Free resources
A Workforce Pell state implementation tracker and The Signal newsletter
Behind the work
Research tooling that keeps every finding tied to its source

Principles

  • Evidence before investment

The service is designed to reach a defensible go, revise or stop before a budget is committed.

  • The smallest credible response

Ask what the smallest credible training response is. Sometimes it’s a short course, sometimes a full program, sometimes nothing.

  • Give useful things away

Free public resources, including a Workforce Pell state implementation tracker and a newsletter, are meant to be useful whether or not anyone hires Wavelength.

Who it’s for

Community-college workforce and continuing-education teams, and the employers and workforce partners they serve.

My part

I set its direction, and I built its public site and research library with AI coding agents.

Ground rules

  • No invented clients, figures or testimonials, and anything illustrative is labeled.
  • A funding match is not an eligibility determination. Funding is identified, never promised.
  • Research has to stay tied to its sources so every claim can be checked.
